Employment Type: Full-Time (32-34 hours/week)
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Summary
Are you passionate about helping people grow while thriving in a fast-paced clinical environment? The Mental Health Support Specialist is a dynamic role ideal for someone with a background in psychology, medical assisting, or coaching. In this full-time position, you’ll meet with patients for 30-minute sessions that integrate clinical support (such as taking vitals and updating chart information) with mental health coaching and care coordination.
This is a high-energy, fast-paced position within a busy outpatient clinic. You’ll work with multiple patients throughout the day and must be able to shift gears quickly while staying organized, emotionally present, and focused on quality care.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct 30-minute patient sessions that include:
- Taking and recording vitals (height, weight, blood pressure, pulse)
Updating patient history and psychiatric symptoms in the EHR - Supporting mental health and personal goal setting using the Mentally STRONG Method (training provided)

- Communicate clinical observations and concerns to the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Manage appointment scheduling
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a collaborative care environment
This is a quick-moving clinical role requiring confidence, clarity, and compassion in every session. You’ll interact with a new patient approximately every 30 minutes.

What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field preferred
- OR experience in coaching, MA, CNA, LPN, RBT, education, or similar fields
- Strong time management, organization, and clinical documentation skills
- Excellent communication and empathy, with clear boundaries and emotional resilience
- Comfortable with technology and learning electronic systems (EHR experience a plus)
- Flexible, motivated, and growth-oriented

Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $19.00–$22.00 per hour
