Job DescriptionWe are looking for a dedicated and organized Receptionist to join our team in Columbia City, Indiana. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone who thrives in a detail-oriented environment and enjoys providing excellent administrative support. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations by managing front office tasks and assisting with essential clerical duties.
Responsibilities:
• Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate contacts or departments.
• Answer and manage incoming calls on a multi-line phone system with efficiency and courtesy.
• Sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing correspondence as needed.
• Perform basic administrative tasks, including data entry and document preparation.
• Maintain the reception area to ensure it is tidy and welcoming for visitors.
• Assist with scheduling meetings and managing calendars.
• Support team members with clerical tasks as required.
• Utilize Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel to create, update, and organize documents.
• Ensure all communications are handled promptly and accurately.• Proven experience operating a multi-line phone system with 1-10 lines.
• Strong mail processing skills, including organization and distribution.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel for document management and data entry.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in an organized and focused office environment.
• Previous receptionist or administrative experience preferred.
