Job Description

General Function:

The Customer Service Representative handles calls from new and existing business clients regarding a variety of requests efficiently and effectively. They use knowledge of Luxottica products and services and strong customer service skills to:

  • Address issues
  • Provide support
  • Offer information
  • Place orders
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and retention

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls and process orders
  • Resolve customer complaints and troubleshoot issues
  • Document customer interactions and call types
  • Maintain service levels and uphold Luxottica's standards
  • Follow up with customers regarding order and shipping status, and product availability
  • Handle inbound calls for up to 90% of the assigned shift
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma
  • 1+ years of customer service, hospitality, or call center experience
  • Clear and professional telephone etiquette
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Good listening and comprehension skills
  • Team-oriented with interpersonal skills
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Excellent time management and task prioritization
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel)
  • Ability to navigate internal systems and the internet

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
  • SAP experience
  • Experience in the optical industry
  • Familiarity with client products and terminology
  • Bilingual (French/English)
