Martha & Mary is a faith-based, not-for-profit organization committed to providing compassionate care and services to seniors in our assisted living community. We are looking for a dedicated Licensed Nurse to join our team, bringing clinical expertise and a heart for service to enhance the well-being of our residents.

As a Licensed Nurse in our Assisted Living facility, you will collaborate closely with our Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, and other key staff to ensure the highest standards of resident care. This role involves a blend of hands-on nursing care, staff support, and administrative duties, including monitoring resident health, coordinating with healthcare providers, and ensuring compliance with state regulations.

Starting wage for LPN: $30.00/hr. up to $35.38/hr. depending credentials and related experience as determined by Supervisor and HR

Starting wage for RN: $34.50/hr. up to $39.99/hr. depending credentials and related experience as determined by Supervisor and HR

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resident Care: Participate in assessments, care plan adjustments, and communicate effectively with physicians and social workers to coordinate resident care.
  • Clinical Leadership: Assist with staff training, monitor resident wellness, and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures, including infection control.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct medication cart audits, assist in fall and incident investigations, and provide clinical reports to the Director of Nursing.
  • Administrative Duties: Manage admissions, transfers, and discharges; notify state authorities of significant incidents, and complete required documentation.
  • Team Support: Collaborate with the nursing team for staffing needs, rotating on-call duties, and providing PRN coverage as required.
  • Resident Interaction: Regularly engage with residents through safety checks, room evaluations, and ensuring a safe, comfortable living environment.

Qualifications:

  • Education: LPN or RN required.
  • Experience:
    • At least 1 year of nursing experience in any clinical setting.
    • Experience in Assisted Living and working with the geriatric population is preferred.
    • Competent clinical skills including vital signs, dressings, and lab reviews.
    • Experience with dementia care is an advantage.
  • Licensure: Must hold an unencumbered Washington State Nursing License (LPN or RN)

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and independent judgment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service and teamwork.
  • Ability to multitask, set priorities, and handle multiple responsibilities under deadlines.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in using medical devices and various computer software programs.
  • Flexible, reliable attendance with a willingness to cover additional hours, including weekends and holidays.
