Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) credential is needed for an engaging contract position in Morgan Hill, CA. This role supports elementary to middle school students across two school locations, providing critical speech and language services that enhance communication skills and academic success.
Position Details:
- Location: Morgan Hill, CA
- Assignment Type: Contract (NSY)
- Dates: August 14, 2025 June 5, 2026
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break
- Student Population: Elementary and middle school students
- Work Environment: Onsite only across two school locations
Key Qualifications:
- Hold a current SLP CCC certification or be in your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience working with elementary and middle school students preferred
- Ability to design and implement individualized speech-language therapy sessions
- Strong collaborative skills to work alongside educators and school staff
- Commitment to providing compassionate, student-centered care
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify student needs
- Develop and deliver tailored therapy plans focused on communication improvement
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and district policies
