We are seeking an Intake & Administrative Specialist to become a part of our fast-growing team! You will be responsible for speaking with potential clients seeking personal injury representation, as well as other task-based administrative case-oriented duties to support our case managers and legal assistants. We promote from within and this position has strong opportunity for transition into a Legal Assistant and Case Manager role. We are a preeminent Personal Injury law firm located in Denton County, and emphasize a strong focus on effective client communication and paramount legal representation. We are NOT a high-volume "mill" firm, simply looking for someone to answer the phone and move on. This position is meant for someone seeking a professional and rewarding career with a leading law firm. Full training is provided. No specific legal experience is required but candidate must be a team player with excellent communication, organization and office skills. Responsibilities:
- Must have excellent written, oral and grammatical skills
- Take prospective client phone calls and screen potential cases using our guidelines
- Assist Legal Assistants and Case Managers with task-based assignments
- Complete administrative tasks assigned by legal assistants, case managers and attorneys in a timely manner
- Receive, sort and file all incoming mail and fax communication
- Greet and welcome in-office appointments and visitors
Qualifications:
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Excellent Written, Oral and Grammatical Skills
- Excellent Organizational Skill
- Previous office/professional experience (specific legal/law firm experience is not required)
- Familiarity with Office/Word/Excel/Adobe and Microsoft 365
- Spanish fluency is a strong plus
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
- Desire to move up in a fast-growing, leading law firm
- This position is meant as an intro position to the firm, and offers strong opportunities to move up with the firm. We prefer to promote from within and this position will teach the right candidate how to successfully and efficiently open and manage all aspects of a personal injury case.
