LINE COOK FOR SALAD/SANDWICH
Cocinero de Linea / Line Cook
Our restaurant is hiring enthusiastic, creative and hardworking Line Cooks who will work as a team to prepare fresh quality food for our diners.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare salads, sandwiches, and fill ticket orders
- Prepare ingredients according to the recipes.
- Follow food safety and handling procedures, such as product rotation, dating and labeling all food items
- Follow proper knife handling procedures
- Ensure the quality of the food items and notify the manager if a product does not meet our standards
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping and storing
QUALIFICATIONS
- A smiling face and great attitude
- Have reliable transportation
- Punctual attendance
- Minimum one year experience in the kitchen of a high volume establishment
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures
- Able to work near heated equipment
- Be able to work in a standing and moving position for long periods of time
- Ability to lift 40 pounds
- Must be 18 years of age
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour plus tips (tips average an extra $1.00 per hour)
