Enrollment Director, Employee Benefits

Overview:
Employee Benefits Solutions (EBS) seeks to create a new position, the Enrollment Director, to provide coordinated, cross-unit leadership to the employee-level sales process – known as enrollment – as part of our newly developed strategic plan. This position requires leading industry expertise of the employee benefits ecosystem, with a demonstrated track record of successfully increasing enrollment.
The successful candidate will do this by developing and maintaining industry-leading solutions and offerings designed to grow average enrollment, as well as the activation of these solutions through the development of targeted enrollment plans with the sales and account management teams supporting prospect and current clients. This work requires individual thought leadership, enrollment team leadership and the orchestration of the efforts of many areas across Securian, including EBS, Marketing, Technology and Business Services.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Own and Develop EBS’ Enrollment Offerings
Advocate for the development of new offerings and incorporate enrollment growth strategies into approved unit plans. Provide individual thought leadership for solutions, as well as leverage dedicated enrollment specialists to provide ongoing business ownership for our offerings.
Employer-client level activation
Lead the development of client-specific enrollment activation plans for targeted clients on an annual basis. This includes partnering with Account Executives and Sales RVPs to secure client-level adoption of the right solutions to reach client-specific growth targets established with the Case UW and actuarial team.
Market Expertise and Representation
Attend and represent Securian at relevant industry events and channel partner meetings. Maintain awareness of market trends, competitor actions, and deliver presentations advocating for Securian’s solutions and approach.
Associate Leadership
As the leader of people for a team of associates dedicated to enrollment solutions provide direct associate leadership (e.g., performance enablement, career development, coaching) as well as required hiring and staffing model development.
