Electrical Tech Helper

LC Staffing is partnering with a global provider of communication and response products and is hiring for an Electrical Tech Helper.  Here is a sought-after opportunity to learn and grow with a top-notch company. This role will be especially fulfilling as the Electrical Tech Helper will be part of a professional team who are leaders in their industry.

Wage:  $17/hour
Schedule:  Monday through Friday, day shift

Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

• Install and test the 12V and 120V systems within projects
• Splice wires and solder connections to fixtures and equipment
• Install equipment and accessories such as stereos, navigation equipment, communication equipment, and security systems
• Run wires and cables for AC and DC systems, controls, and various electronic appliances.
• Cut openings and drilling holes for fixtures and equipment, using electric drills, air saws, and multi-tools.
• Replace electrical or electronic components
• Build wooden enclosures and carpeted wall panels to custom fit vehicle dimensions
• Ability to be cross-trained in areas of flooring installation, plumbing, door, and window installation, HVAC, cabinet and countertop making, welding, and I.T. integration – lots of room to grow

Qualifications & Experience:

• Some experience reading and following CAD
• A great positive attitude with a strong aptitude and willingness to learn from scratch with on-the-job training/experience
• Ability to walk, crouch, and perform various physical tasks alongside your team
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen
