Position Details
- Evening Shift
  ▪️ Week 1: 24 hours
  ▪️ Week 2: 16 hours
  ▪️ Includes every other weekend
- Pay Range: $20.20 – $21.85/hour
  ▪️ +$1.00/hour Evening Shift Differential
  ▪️ +$1.25/hour Weekend Differential
What You'll Be Doing
As a Resident Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting residents with compassion, dignity, and respect. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, ambulation, etc.)
- Helping with mealtime needs in the dining room and during snacks
- Providing emotional support and companionship to residents
- Supporting personal laundry, tidying of rooms, and phone use
- Reporting changes in resident conditions to supervisory staff
- Accurately documenting care in electronic and paper records
- Assisting with admissions, discharges, and post-mortem care, as needed
- Participating in activities and events to engage residents socially
- Promoting cleanliness, safety, and infection control protocols
What We’re Looking For
- A sincere desire to serve and care for older adults
- Ability to work well under supervision and as part of a team
- Kind, respectful, and patient approach in all interactions
- Reliable, flexible, and able to maintain confidentiality (HIPAA)
- Physical ability to safely lift, transfer, and assist residents (up to 50 lbs)
- Note: Must be able to meet physical demands and remain calm under pressure in emergency or high-stress situations.
