We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a National Sales Director in Omaha, NE. As National Sales Director you'll be responsible for developing growth within Farmers National Company through increased sales, institutional relations, business acquisition, as well as developing and maintaining partnerships with industry stakeholders. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build and execute FNC’s corporate growth strategy focusing on Real Estate, Farm & Ranch Management and additional business lines.
  • Develop strong long-term business relationships and referrals to acquire new business opportunities with institutional clients such as National Banks & Trusts, Large Family Offices, Investments funds, wealth managers, and attorneys.
  • Host and/or attend industry or company workshops, conferences, trade shows, networking functions and other organized events; maintain a presence in professional or community service organizations.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Department on events, business development tactics, CRM and other initiatives.
  • Set Annual Goals for corporate new business as part of the Annual Business Plan.
  • Work with the Executive Team, Long-Range Planning Committee to develop and execute the business plan.
  • Embrace the team selling model to support long range plan growth goals and expand the company’s presence.
  • Conduct market research and strategic fit analyses for Merger & Acquisition opportunities.
  • Assist with business expansion into new geographies.
  • Provide strategy, advice, and leadership in relation to Farmers National Company’s external industry partnerships.
  • Regularly review, evaluate and advise on existing engagement strategies and update implementation plans as required.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned and required by management.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The position has no supervisor responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management or related field;
    1. Associate’s degree and 4+ years work experience in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree
    2. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certificate of competency and 8+ years work experience in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years of business development, sales or account management experience
  • Proven experience working with senior level executives to navigate family dynamics
  • Exemplary computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, Social Media, Internet, etc.)
  • Demonstrates high level of initiative, self-motivation and positive outlook with a can-do attitude
  • Nebraska Broker Real Estate License

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Frequent (60-70%) travel within specified region on prospective client visits and to attend company/industry functions as required
  • Continually required to sit, talk/hear and utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read a computer monitor and use a keyboard
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
  • Work Location: Corporate Headquarters – Omaha, NE
