Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Workers' Compensation Attorney to join our legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for representing clients in workers' compensation claims and ensuring their rights are protected. The role requires a deep understanding of workers' compensation laws and the ability to navigate complex legal issues effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in workers' compensation hearings and negotiations
  • Prepare and file legal documents, including petitions and appeals
  • Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions on relevant issues
  • Advocate for clients at mediation and trial
  • Communicate with clients to keep them informed of case progress and developments
  • Collaborate with medical professionals and experts to strengthen cases
  • Stay updated on changes in workers' compensation laws and regulations

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Licensed to practice law in the relevant state
  • Experience in workers' compensation law, with a preference for both defense and plaintiff sides
  • Strong knowledge of personal injury law
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a high caseload and meet deadlines
