Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a passionate and dependable Qualified Behavioral Health Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a reliable team player who brings a strong understanding of community resources, including housing programs and insurance eligibility. This role plays a key part in delivering individualized care and ensuring each client receives the support they need to thrive.
Responsibilities:

Provide behavioral health support services to clients using a client-centered and strengths-based approach.

Assist clients in navigating community resources including housing, health insurance, and other social service supports.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with agency policies and procedures.

Collaborate with clinical staff and community partners to develop and support individualized service plans.

Advocate for clients to ensure they receive equitable access to necessary services.

Participate in team meetings, trainings, and community outreach efforts as needed.

Support the overall wellness of clients through education, empowerment, and consistent engagement.
Qualifications:

Must be a Qualified Behavioral Health Specialist (QHBS) as defined by state/local guidelines.

Previous experience working in behavioral health, social work, or human services preferred.

Strong knowledge of local housing supports and public insurance programs (e.g., Medicaid, SNAP, etc.).

Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced, community-based setting.

Reliable transportation is required.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Commitment to cultural competency and trauma-informed care.
