JOB TITLE: Spa Receptionist
DIVISION: Spa
REPORTS TO: Spa Supervisor
LOCATION: Solitude Mountain Spa/The Inn
CLASSIFICATION: Full or Part Time/Seasonal/Hourly
POSITION: The Spa Receptionist is responsible for initial customer interactions, including answering calls and emails, welcoming clients to the spa, scheduling appointments, and ensuring that lobby facilities are presented in a clean and professional manner.
SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Excellent customer service
• Professionalism
• Dependable, self-motivated, and punctual
• Knowledge of office equipment
• Basic knowledge of computer operation
• Proficient in math
• Basic accounting skills
• Multitasking
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per day
• Ability to perform light lifting tasks (up to 20 lbs)
• Available weekends and holidays
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for opening the spa each morning
• Responsible for ensuring treatment rooms are in order for the day's appointments
• Responsible for ensuring the lobby is prepared for customers
• Responsible for processing linens and towels
• Tea and beverage preparation for clients
• Answer incoming calls and emails
• Schedule appointments and coordinating with therapists
• Greet clients, sell retail and gift certificates
• Take payment (cash, credit cards, package vouchers, room charges
