R.M. Palmer Company, LLC designs, produces, packages, and ships seasonal chocolate novelties. Its products include filled chocolates, solid chocolates, chocolate bars and balls, chocolate cups and coins, chocolate patties, and seasonal products. In addition to their own branded products, the Company co-manufactures both seasonal and everyday products for other large, branded companies. Today, the Company operates out of two manufacturing facilities and one distribution facility with ~600 full-time employees. R.M. Palmer Company, LLC has some of the most differentiated manufacturing capabilities in the industry as one of the only companies in the U.S. able to make hollow molded chocolate candy products and multicolor chocolate candy novelties.


As a Graphic Designer, you’ll play a key role in transforming seasonal and everyday chocolate products into eye-catching, retail-ready creations. You’ll work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product Development, and Sales to create compelling packaging and promotional visuals that delight our customers and drive brand consistency across all touchpoints.

  • Develop innovative packaging and product concepts for seasonal and everyday chocolate offerings.
  • Design and produce visual assets aligned with brand standards and marketing objectives.
  • Ensure visual consistency across packaging, digital platforms, sales collateral, and promotional materials.
  • Coordinate pre-press activities and ensure accurate, timely delivery to print vendors.
  • Support internal artwork approvals, manage proofing cycles, and follow up with print partners.
  • Assist with in-house product photography for sales teams and retail partners.
  • Design and maintain digital product catalogs for seasonal and evergreen assortments.
  • Contribute to website updates and support trade advertising, sales materials, and trade show graphics.
  • Stay current on design and packaging trends, especially in the food and confectionery sectors.
  • Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.



Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in packaging or consumer goods.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign). Experience with 3D design/mock-up tools is a plus.
  • Strong creative portfolio showcasing packaging and print/digital design work.
  • Excellent attention to detail, especially in color, typography, and layout.
  • Solid communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and accept feedback constructively.
  • Understanding of packaging production processes and consumer behavior is a plus.
