We are excited to be seeking an Early Head Start Home Visitor (Maternity Coverage/Temporary) to serve our Rensselaer County families.
Your tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Comply with all policies and procedures including confidentiality, mandated reporting, active supervision of children, health and safety protocols, etc.
- Participate in meetings and training as required.
- Provide weekly home visits to enrolled families of children aged
- Plan monthly socializations for parents and children. Help families plan goals and connect with local community resources.
- Be familiar with infant toddler development and milestones.
- Help families to make the necessary referrals when there are developmental concerns
Minimum Requirements:
- An AAS or bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field or Infant/Toddler CDA (Child Development Associate)
- Knowledge of Infant/Toddler child development and family interaction
- A valid driver’s license (regular and frequent driving will be required)
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the US without the need for Visa Sponsorship
