We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically capable individual to join our IT Department as an IT Helpdesk Support and work as part of a team to drive success. This entry-level role supports daily IT operations and will play a critical role in supporting our team members by ensuring seamless operation or our Microsoft 365-based infrastructure and lab-connected IT systems.
Reporting Relationship:
The IT Helpdesk Support will report directly to the Associate Director, IT.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for IT support across the organization, assisting with hardware, software, and access issues.
- Provide onboarding/offboarding support including email provisioning, device configuration, and access control.
- Provide day-to-day support for scientists and lab users.
- Maintain inventory of IT equipment and ensure accurate tracking using asset management systems.
- Maintain documentation of troubleshooting steps, known issues, and system configurations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Essential Physical Characteristics:

On-Site Protocol:
Physical presence at the ADARx Pharmaceuticals worksite is a necessary job function of this role, which the Company deems critical to collaboration, innovation, productivity, employee well-being and engagement, and it enhances the Company culture.
Qualifications:
- 1-4 years of experience in helpdesk or helpdesk support.
- Experience working in ticketing systems and structured IT support environments.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards exploring new approaches.
- Proficiency working with Microsoft 365 including Office Suite Products, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint
- Fundamental understanding of networking concepts, including IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in biotech/pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field, or equivalent professional experience is desirable but is not required.
- IT Certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with IT ticketing systems such as Jira Service Desk or Zendesk is a plus.
- CompTIA A+ or Microsoft certifications, or equivalent are a plus.
- Efficient and accurate typing skills, with a minimum speed of 40 words per minute (WPM) to ensure timely and professional communication in support interactions and ticketing systems.

- Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills with the ability to take a hands-on approach to work effectively in a dynamic and collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Compensation:
- This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday, with occasional overtime.

This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including but not limited to cash bonuses.
