Construction Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of residential construction projects, including foundation work, framing, utilities, inspections, and final finishes.
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
Work closely with architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors to ensure timely and accurate project execution.
Conduct regular on-site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
Manage materials and equipment procurement while maintaining cost control.
Identify and resolve project delays, conflicts, and on-site issues.
Provide accurate progress reports and updates to leadership and clients.
Ensure all work meets applicable building codes, safety regulations, and company quality standards.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of construction management experience overseeing residential projects from foundation through completion.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, scheduling, budgeting, and project coordination.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical documents.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project).
Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record).
Ability to pass a background check.
Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and permitting processes.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
OSHA certification or other safety training.
Experience managing multiple residential projects at once.
