Manufacturing Engineer | Kentwood, MI
Salary Range: $73,000 - $112,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
- Design, develop, and implement manufacturing tools, fixtures, and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to process, quality, and equipment.
- Support the successful introduction of new products into manufacturing.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and process flow charts.
- Implement Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles for continuous improvement.
- Analyze and improve production layouts and material flow.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or a related technical field
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a process or manufacturing engineering role
- Proficiency with Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and continuous improvement tools
- Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for fixture design and process layout
- Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills for manufacturing process issues
- Familiarity with various manufacturing processes, equipment, and automation technologies
Bonus Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
- Experience with robotics programming or automation system integration
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for production data analysis
- Advanced data analysis skills using tools like Python, R, Power BI, or Tableau
