Schedule/Hours:
- Night shift, 6:45 p.m. – 7:15 a.m.
- 13-week assignment
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license, eligible in Missouri
- Minimum 2 years of recent stepdown/PCU experience required
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Medical and progressive care unit inpatient background preferred
- Experience floating between MS and PCU floors highly valued
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and patient safety
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care using the Nursing Process in accordance with state regulations and hospital policies
- Employ critical thinking, scientific judgment, and clinical competence to plan and implement care
- Delegate care tasks appropriately based on staff skill set and patient needs
- Guide, support, and supervise personnel assigned to patient care during shifts
- Maintain professional development through continuing education opportunities
