Quality Control Manager – Federal/Military Construction
Location: Fort Worth, Texas
We are seeking an experienced Construction Quality Control Manager for a federal project. This role requires expertise in government contracting, including new construction, design-build, and renovations. The QCM ensures compliance with project specifications, oversees inspections, and coordinates with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to deliver a high-quality product.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the Quality Control Management Plan from start to project completion.
- Conduct inspections, monitor work progress, and enforce contract specifications.
- Lead QC meetings, maintain daily reports, and manage non-conformance issues.
- Review submittals, shop drawings, and material approvals.
- Oversee testing, commissioning, and final project closeout.
- Maintain as-built drawings and ensure compliance with EM 385-1-1 and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience (Project Superintendent, QC Manager, PM, or Engineer); 4+ years as a QC Manager.
- Familiarity with USACE/NAVFAC projects.
- Certifications: USACE QCM Certificate, 30-Hour OSHA
- First Aid & CPR.
- Proficiency in ECMS, Microsoft Office Suite, and construction documentation.
- Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal construction laws.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
