Position Summary:
The Restaurant General Manager is responsible for overseeing all daily operations of Patterson Restaurant & Bar, ensuring an outstanding guest experience through seamless service, inspired leadership, and operational excellence. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the restaurant's reputation for exceptional quality and genuine southern hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of managers, servers, bartenders, and support staff to uphold service and performance standards.

  • Oversee daily operations including scheduling, inventory, cost control, and financial reporting.

  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Director of Food & Beverage to ensure consistency in food and beverage quality, presentation, and service.

  • Manage guest relations with professionalism, resolving issues promptly and effectively.

  • Monitor budgets, labor, and expenses to achieve financial goals and profitability.

  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.

  • Drive marketing initiatives, special events, and seasonal menu rollouts to enhance visibility and guest engagement.

  • Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and genuine hospitality.



Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of restaurant management experience; fine dining or upscale casual preferred.

  • Proven leadership and team development skills.

  • Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.

  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.

  • ServSafe certification and knowledge of state/local regulations preferred.

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
