The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely handling and removing asbestos materials from various sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in challenging environments.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of work sites to identify asbestos-containing materials.
  • Safely remove, encapsulate, or dispose of asbestos in accordance with OSHA regulations.
  • Perform mold remediation as necessary to ensure a safe environment.
  • Build containment areas and employ appropriate safety measures during abatement processes.
  • Restore affected areas post-abatement, ensuring all surfaces are clean and safe for reoccupation.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient project completion while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Asbestos Abatement Certification
  • Previous experience in asbestos abatement or related fields is preferred.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices related to hazardous materials.
  • Familiarity with mold remediation techniques is a plus.
  • Ability to work in various environments, including residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Certification in asbestos handling or abatement is highly desirable.
