Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 academic year in Claremont, NH. This contract role serves students ranging from pre-kindergarten through 8th grade, with two openings: one focused on preschool and the other covering kindergarten through 8th grade. The position offers a rewarding opportunity to support students' communication development in an engaging educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students in the assigned age groups.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and implement therapy interventions.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Document and maintain detailed records of student progress and therapy outcomes.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary approaches.
Qualifications:
- Current New Hampshire licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with children in a school setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to tailor therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs.
- Bilingual capabilities are a plus given the bilingual therapies offered.
Position Details:
- Contract term: August 1, 2025 May 31, 2026.
- Hours: 35 per week, Monday through Friday.
- Pay rate: Starting at $50 per hour.
- Location: Claremont, NH.
