Job DescriptionParts Washer – Full-Time
Are you hands-on, detail-oriented, and ready to be part of a hardworking production team? We’re looking for a Parts Washer to join our first shift. This will be to operate and maintain industrial parts washing equipment. This essential role helps keep our operations running smoothly by ensuring parts are cleaned efficiently and safely.
Parts Washer Job Responsibilities:
- Operate, load, and unload an automatic parts washer daily
- Perform routine maintenance and checks on washer equipment
- Use manual spray equipment when necessary
- Safely move materials between departments
- Accurately log work and production figures in SAP
- Assist with cross-training and support other shop tasks as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
Parts Washer Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or GED
- Experience: Prior experience in manufacturing or the fluid power industry is a plus
- Skills: Attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, good communication
- Certifications: Must be forklift certified (including RAYMOND upright)
Parts Washer Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Environment: You’ll work around moving mechanical parts and occasional fumes; noise level is moderate
- Physical Requirements:
- Stand, walk, and handle materials for most of your shift
- Lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs regularly
- Occasional climbing, kneeling, and bending required
