Centura Wealth Advisory, a dynamic, registered investment advisory (RIA) firm serving ultra-high-net-worth individuals/families, is seeking a reliable freelance IT Support Technician to assist with light hardware setup, new employee onboarding/offboarding, and Microsoft 365/Azure administration. This is a flexible, as-needed role — averaging 1–5 hours per week — ideal for a solo IT professional, freelancer, or part-time consultant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage user onboarding/offboarding in Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and related admin portals
  • Maintain user/device inventory and track hardware assignments
  • Set up workstations (monitors, docking stations, basic cable management) for new hires
  • Provide occasional on-site support for hardware setup or troubleshooting (San Diego office)
  • Serve as an on-call resource for light help desk support (remote + in-person as needed)
  • Collaborate with internal team on IT best practices and light process documentation

Requirements:

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Admin Center, Azure AD, and Endpoint Manager
  • Basic hardware setup skills (laptops, monitors, docking stations)
  • Ability to provide both remote and on-site support in San Diego
  • Prior experience with inventory tracking or asset management preferred
  • Reliable, organized, and responsive with a professional demeanor

Compensation:

  • Hourly, based on experience
  • No fixed monthly commitment; hours will vary based on business needs
