Job DescriptionLHH is partnering with a construction company to search for a temporary to hire Accountant for their team. This person will be focusing a lot of effort on the accounts payable side but will also be handling month end, journal entries, and reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of accounting experience and be comfortable handling large amounts of data. This position offers the opportunity to grow within the company. The team works in office in the Bellevue, WA area. Free parking is offered.Responsibilities:
- Process and review accounts payable invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
- Prepare and post journal entries as part of the monthly close process.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to maintain financial integrity.
- Analyze large data sets to identify discrepancies and support financial reporting.
- Assist with month-end closing activities and provide support for audits as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or related experience.
- Minimum of five years of accounting experience.
- Strong communication skills and ability to partner with other team members.
- Ability to analyze and manage large data sets with attention to detail and accuracy.
- High attention to detail and able to learn new software systems quickly.
Employment Details:
- Temporary to hire.
- Fully in office in Bellevue, WA.
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Pay Details: $33.00 to $37.00 per hour
