As we expand in South Florida, we are seeking dedicated providers to support inpatient psychiatric services.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Inpatient PMHNP to provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing care for patients in inpatient behavioral health facilities throughout the Palm Beach area. This role includes collaboration with our Medical Director and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for inpatient populations
- Diagnose and treat mental health disorders across diverse patient populations
- Provide medication management and monitor patient progress
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, nurses, and facility staff
- Document patient encounters accurately and timely in EMR systems
- Participate in treatment planning and interdisciplinary team meetings
- Ensure compliance with facility protocols and state/federal regulations
- Provide compassionate, ethical, and evidence-based care
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
- Active, unrestricted Florida APRN license
- DEA license with prescriptive authority
- Experience in inpatient psychiatric settings preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in acute or inpatient behavioral health facilities
- Familiarity with diverse populations and complex psychiatric conditions
- Bilingual (a plus)
