Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a difference this summer supporting K-12 students in an ESY setting near Clifton, NJ! This contract opportunity is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists passionate about helping children improve their communication and engagement in a school-based environment.

This seasonal assignment runs from June 22 to July 24, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, providing you with afternoons free for personal pursuits. Work with a diverse caseload of K-12 students, collaborating with educators and families to promote meaningful progress across a short, focused session.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology license (CCC-SLP, CFY, or limited permit considered)
  • Experience with pediatric and/or school-based speech therapy highly preferred
  • Familiarity with a range of communication needs in K-12 populations
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy approaches for different ages and learning styles

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver diagnostic and therapeutic services to K-12 students in an ESY (Extended School Year) program
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on IEPs and identified student needs
  • Document progress and maintain compliance with school and state requirements
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, families, and school staff to support student success
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, forward-thinking school environment
