Job Description We are seeking a reliable, friendly, and detail-oriented Oral Surgery Assistant to join our team two Saturdays per month. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys surgical assisting, providing high-quality patient care, and working in a supportive clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the oral surgeon during all surgical procedures
- Prepare, maintain, and sterilize instruments and treatment areas
- Obtain radiographs as required
- Monitor patients pre-operatively, intra-operatively, and post-operatively
- Provide clear post-operative instructions to patients
- Support infection control and OSHA compliance standards
Requirements:
- Previous dental assisting experience; oral surgery experience preferred
- Current X-ray certification
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
- Reliability and ability to work efficiently in a clinical environment
Schedule:
- Two (2) Saturdays per month
