Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our client on a temp-to-hire basis. The ideal candidate will bring strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This position will support month-end close, financial reporting, and general ledger maintenance while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.

Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses.

Maintain the general ledger and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.

Assist with the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.

Analyze financial information and provide insights to management for decision-making.

Support internal and external audit activities by providing required documentation.

Assist in the development and implementation of accounting procedures and controls.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.

CPA or CPA candidate preferred.

5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including general ledger and month-end close responsibilities.

Strong knowledge of GAAP.

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar).

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
