Senior Business Solutions Architect

Location: Colorado (Must reside in Colorado at the time of hire)

Overview

We’re looking for a Senior Business Solutions Architect with strong technical expertise in Python, .NET, C#, and SQL to design and implement secure, scalable, and innovative solutions. This role blends hands-on development with high-level architecture and collaboration across teams to improve business systems and public safety applications.

You’ll play a key part in shaping enterprise systems, mentoring developers, and ensuring technology supports efficiency, security, and service excellence.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain software solutions using Python, .NET, C#, and SQL.
• Partner with stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Build and maintain custom web applications, workflows, and integrations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across in-house and cloud-based applications.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and system architecture diagrams.
• Evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements for scalability and performance.
• Mentor junior developers and support end users during implementation and adoption.
• Participate in an on-call rotation (approx. one week per month) to support critical applications.

What You’ll Bring

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, or a related field.

Experience:

• 7–10 years of experience in business systems design, development, or analysis.
• Strong background in data/system troubleshooting, process improvement, and solution delivery.
• Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with workflow automation tools (Accela, SeamlessDocs, or similar).
• Working knowledge of JavaScript for UI/UX enhancements.
• Familiarity with:
• • APIs, web services, XML, and ETL tools.
  • Relational and non-relational databases.
  • Information security and change management practices.
  • Network and systems administration principles.
