Principal Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Aquatics Director, the Swim Lessons Manager is responsible for scheduling swim lessons, supervising the swim instructors, and delivering excellent customer service experience to our members.


Essential Functions:

· Create daily transportation list

· Manage transporters and their schedules

· Manage instructors and their schedules; associated administrative work

· Communicate with parents regularly about swim lessons registration, policies, and updates

· Manage Pike13 and DigiQuatics—new registrations particularly, but also making sure all makeups are accounted for and progress reports are being sent on time

· Manage AquaFit classes and make sure waitlists are communicated

· Manage Preschool swim classes and make sure they are staffed properly

· Monitor registrations and ensure all are accurate both for schedule and payment

· Answer emails and voicemails in a timely manner

· Enforce MJCCA Aquatics policies, particularly about cancellations and makeups

· Work with Registration Team to create the year-round timeline for sessions


Minimum Qualifications:

• Competitive swimming experience preferred.

• Past coaching/teaching experience preferred.

• Current CPR/AED Certification (Adult and Pediatric) required.

• Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Pike13 or other similar scheduling software preferred.

• Excellent communication skills.
