Responsibilities:
• Compile and analyze financial data to prepare accurate journal entries and review general ledger reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and safeguard company assets through thorough financial oversight.
• Manage monthly financial consolidation processes, including eliminations and intercompany transactions.
• Provide support during audits by collaborating with external auditors and preparing necessary financial statements.
• Handle accounting for leases, accruals, assets, and expenditures with precision and attention to detail.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow summaries.
• Utilize tools such as Microsoft Excel and consolidation software to upload, extract, and analyze financial data.
• Conduct technical accounting research to address new transactions and implement updated guidance.
• Collaborate effectively with management and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and reporting.
• Lead special projects aimed at improving systems and enhancing productivity within the accounting function.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in general ledger accounting, financial reporting, or public accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Familiarity with consolidation software and systems such as SAP, OneStream, or similar.
• Strong expertise in journal entries, reconciliations, and managing large volumes of financial data.
• In-depth knowledge of technical accounting areas, including foreign exchange, consolidations, and leases.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
