WORK LOCATION & SCHEDULE
This full-time position enjoys working in the thriving town of Nottingham, PA from 7 AM to 4 PM. This position also enjoys a touch of flexibility!
YOUR TYPICAL DAY-TO-DAY
Experience a day as a Goat Herd Coordinator at Fincastle Farm and Always Helpful Veterinary Services. Your morning begins by authorizing treatments and collaborating with the team for holistic goat care. A master of communication, you synchronize tasks, utilizing digital tools to organize records. Empowering the farm crew through training, you ensure top-notch animal care.
After precision planning and unwavering afternoon care, you adeptly manage supplies and supervise the animals into the night. Your dedication shapes the narrative of care and prosperity within Always Helpful Veterinary Services, leaving a lasting impact on the goat community's harmony!
THE ESSENTIALS YOU NEED TO SHINE:
- Farm and livestock experience
- Great organizational and time-management skills with a strong knack for making decisions
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to solve problems quickly
- Ability to train employees
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with handling small ruminants
