Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 school located in OFallon, MO is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position to assess and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. This role focuses on helping students develop essential communication skills that support their academic performance and social interactions throughout the school year.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and provide therapeutic treatment for speech and communication disorders in K-12 students
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver individualized speech therapy services
  • Document and monitor student progress through appropriate assessments and reporting

Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
  • Prior experience working with elementary school-aged children preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with students, families, and school staff
  • Familiarity with pediatric speech therapy and teletherapy techniques a plus
  • Background in both healthcare and educational settings enhances candidacy
