We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Plumbing Apprentice to join our team. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals eager to learn the trade and develop their skills under the guidance of experienced professionals. As a Plumbing Apprentice, you will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems, gaining valuable hands-on experience while working toward becoming a licensed plumber.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Work under the supervision of licensed plumbers to complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently.
- Prepare and maintain tools, equipment, and materials for daily job assignments.
- Learn to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic plumbing issues, escalating complex problems to senior team members.
- Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Perform general labor duties, including cleanup of job sites, loading/unloading materials, and organizing tools.
- Communicate effectively with team members, customers, and supervisors.
- Attend training sessions and complete coursework as required for licensing or certification.
