QMACS, Inc., a well-established medical billing company located in Richardson, Texas. Currently we are seeking a full-time Manager of Operations to join our revenue cycle leadership team. This role is essential in overseeing and optimizing our medical billing operations to drive efficiency and accuracy in revenue cycle processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in medical billing, a strong leadership background, and a results-driven approach to managing teams and improving workflows.
** Previous Medical Billing and Managerial experience required **
DUTIES
- Lead and manage daily operations of the medical billing team, ensuring timely and accurate claim submissions and account resolutions.
- Oversee the revenue cycle process to maximize reimbursements and reduce denials.
- Develop and implement billing policies, procedures, and best practices to improve efficiency and compliance.
- Provide training, guidance, and performance evaluations to billing staff, fostering a high performance team.
- Monitor key performance indicators and provide reports to senior leadership on billing performance and operational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with internal teams to meet objectives and streamline processes.
- Address and resolve escalated billing and reimbursement issues.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and reimbursement policies to adapt strategies accordingly.
- Responsible for proper and accurate personal and team productivity documentation.
- Protect sensitive information by adhering to professional industry standards; company policies and procedures; federal, state, and local requirements.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 5 years’ previous medical billing experience required
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisory or managerial role
- Complete understanding of the medical billing revenue cycle management process
- Strong knowledge of medical billing software, payer guidelines, and insurance regulations.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables, formulas) Required
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze data, locate trends and anomalies, and implement strategies for improved revenue cycle management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage teams and collaborate with other departments.
