Job DescriptionAbout the Role:Join The Dog Stop South Hills as a Canine Handler, where your passion for dogs meets a rewarding career! In this dynamic role, you'll provide exceptional care and attention to our furry guests, ensuring they have a safe and enjoyable experience.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and engage with dogs in playgroups to ensure safety and socialization.
• Administer feeding, medication, and basic grooming as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility and play areas.
• Monitor dog behavior and report any concerns to management.
• Provide excellent customer service to pet owners during drop-off and pick-up.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance handling skills and knowledge.
• Assist in creating a fun and stimulating environment for all dogs.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures for dog handling and care.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in animal care or dog handling preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Must be physically able to handle dogs of various sizes and energy levels.
• Knowledge of dog behavior and training techniques is a plus.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and have a positive attitude.
• CPR and First Aid certification for pets is a bonus.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Passion for animals and commitment to their well-being.
