Credit Manager
Status: Exempt
Reports to: Controller
Starting Salary: $46,000

Position Summary:
This position is responsible for all aspects of monitoring and managing monetary collection for approximately 4,300 non-budget, residential and commercial fuel customers.

Main Duties:
- Communicating with customers via telephone, emails and letters to ensure timely collection of outstanding debts
-Assisting customers with payment options if their accounts fall into arrears
-Assessing risk factors through credit history or payment searches to determine credit lines for new and/or existing customers
- Weekly pre-ticket pull report review with Delivery dispatcher
-Pre-mailing account statement review and follow-up
-Reporting high risk and problem accounts to the Controller
-Communicating with outside collection agencies regarding accounts sent for collection and reporting the status of these accounts, upon request
-Website administration

Other Duties include:
-Answering the telephone and assisting customers at the counter
-Processing and updating daily delivery work from drivers
-Receiving transport deliveries into the plant, the convenience stores and commission stations via supplier invoicing, including repricing to update the company's cost of goods
-Invoicing the C-stores and commission stations for transport deliveries
-Reconciling the physical plant inventory to the computer inventory, reporting any major discrepancies
- Preparing month-end reports for house inventory
-Providing backup support for bookkeeping and other office-related functions, including entering payments, preparing bank deposits, processing credit cards, filing and updating the POS

Position Expectations:
A qualified candidate for this position must be highly organized, proactive and methodical in following through with all job responsibilities. The candidate must possess a steady, firm and pleasant temperament in all forms of communication with customers. The qualified candidate must have several years of positive and successful work history in credit management.
