Position Summary
Contributes to the success of Starbucks by providing legendary customer service to all customers. Creates the Starbucks experience by providing customers with prompt service, quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean and comfortable environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Acts with integrity, honesty, and knowledge to promote the culture, values, and mission of IPCC/IPMI/Starbucks.
- Delivers legendary customer service by maintaining a customer-first attitude and connecting with each guest.
- Anticipates customer and store needs by evaluating the environment and responding to cues.
- Responds effectively to individual customer needs to ensure satisfaction.
Team Support & Collaboration
- Contributes to a positive team environment by recognizing changes in team morale and performance and communicates observations to store management.
- Assists with new hire training by reinforcing successful performance and providing respectful, encouraging coaching.
- Recognizes and reinforces individual and team accomplishments using established organizational methods.
Operational Standards & Compliance
- Maintains a clean and organized workspace to support resource access.
- Follows all policies and procedures, including cash handling, safety, and security protocols to protect team members and store assets.
- Maintains consistent attendance and punctuality to support operational reliability.
- Must be able to successfully complete all required training programs.
Product Preparation & Quality Assurance
- Prepares and serves quality beverages, whole bean coffee, and food products by following all recipe, presentation, and safety standards.
- Adheres to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe environment.

Minimum Qualifications
Must be able to pass required barista training program within 15 days of hire. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and background investigation. Native American preference given.
