Beginning August 17, 2026, and continuing through the end of the school year, flexible full-time or part-time hours are available, with a preference for candidates interested in full-time positions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Michigan School Psychologist Certificate or Preliminary School Psychologist Certificate required
- Master’s or Ed.S. degree in School Psychology
- Previous experience working with elementary-aged children preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, consultation, and development of intervention strategies
- Excellent communication abilities to effectively collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and provide comprehensive assessments for elementary students
- Develop and implement evidence-based intervention strategies that support academic achievement and social-emotional growth
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and administrative staff to foster a supportive educational environment
- Consult on individualized education plans (IEPs) and attend relevant meetings
- Offer counseling services and support crisis intervention, when needed
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state requirements
