Job DescriptionCustomer Service RepresentativePay: $23.50/hr.Shift: Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm with overtime as neededPosition Summary:
This position is classified as essential personnel. The individual holding this position will berequired to work as required in preparation for prolonged emergency operations and/or during recovery from prolonged emergency operations as directed by supervisor/manager.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inbound calls and emails; respond to customer inquiries professionally and promptly.
- Create and process service orders for move-ins and move-outs using Water Smart software.
- Process customer payments accurately and follow company procedures.
- Sort and distribute incoming mail; maintain organized files through scanning and shredding.
- Assist customers using website; prepare customer forms and handouts.
- Provide backup support for Operations, including assisting with required reports.
- Attend department meetings and perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 year of customer service experience preferred; billing experience a plus.
- Valid Texas driver’s license with insurable driving record.
- Strong customer focus, communication, teamwork, and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow directions, manage time, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Initiative, reliability, and commitment to safety.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
