Senior Fire Alarm Technician (NICET Certified)

Career Staffing Talent (CST) has partnered with a leading provider of fire alarm system installations, programming, and service solutions. They're growing and were seeking a seasoned technician who excels in complex programming, system commissioning, and new installations.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission fire alarm systems, ensuring full functionality and compliance
• Program and troubleshoot non-proprietary systems
• Program and configure cellular communicators
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontracted ESD programmers for proprietary systems
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with NFPA codes and local standards
• Collaborate with project managers to deliver efficient and timely system installations

Qualifications

• NICET Level II or higher in Fire Alarm Systems (Required)
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in fire alarm installation and programming
• Strong understanding of fire codes and system commissioning procedures
• Comfortable working with external vendors on proprietary system configurations
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills

Preferred Experience

• Previous ESD programming coordination
• Familiarity with construction site safety practices and installation workflows
• Experience with commercial and industrial fire protection projects
