Job Title: Travel RN – Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Facility: Havasu Regional Medical Center (HRMC), Lake Havasu City, AZ Shift: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM

Overview: Havasu Regional Medical Center is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). The ideal candidate will provide specialized nursing care to patients recovering from surgical and procedural anesthesia, ensuring safe transitions and optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor patients’ vital signs and recovery status following anesthesia.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including pain management.
• Assess patient readiness for discharge or transfer to inpatient units.
• Provide patient and family education regarding post-operative care and recovery.
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
• Adhere to hospital policies, infection control, and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in the state of Arizona or compact state eligibility.
• Minimum of 2+ years of recent PACU or critical care experience required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical recovery environment.
