Work Schedule:

  • Full-time schedule of 36 hours per week (or average 72 hours per pay period).

  • Rotating shifts, primarily daylight and evening hours.

  • Occasional overnight shift coverage required, if needed.
  • \n

  • Occasional rotating weekend and holiday hours.
  • \n

  • NO on-call or travel!
  • \n

Responsibilities:

\n

    \n
  • Uses two patient identifiers to identify all patients and documents patient history.
  • \n

  • Presents relevant patient information to the physician and assesses physician orders.
  • \n

  • Labels, prepares, and administers contrast.
  • \n

  • Ensures all exams are properly coded and tracked, all patient information is updated and documented, and all charges are entered correctly in appropriate systems.
  • \n

  • Practices and maintains MR safety while performing procedures.
  • \n

  • Interacts and communicates with both patients and co-workers while displaying a high level of caring, listening, dignity, and respect.
  • \n

    \n
  • Graduate of an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited CNMT, ARMRIT, or ARDMS program.
  • \n

  • ARRT registry-eligible technologists must obtain ARRT within 6 months of hire date, and then MR registry within 18 months of primary registry acquisition.
  • \n

  • CNMT, ARDMS, and ARMRIT graduates must obtain MR registry within 12 months of hire date.
  • \n

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

\n

    \n
  • ARRT Certificate, ARMRIT, NMTC, or ARDMS
  • \n

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) within 30 days of hire.
  • \n

  • Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting, Act 33, Act 34, and Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewals
  • \n
