Volt is hiring for a multiple Manufacturing positions in New Brighton, MN.
As a Machine Operator/Assembleryou will:
- Work with automated equipment to produce premium cable assemblies
- Load and align wire reels in processing equipment
- Measure and verify wire dimensions using tape measure, micrometers and calipers
- Monitor output quality
- Insert wires into plastic adapter/connector
- Load wire pieces on to carts.
- Package finished wires harnesses.
This is a full time opportunity. Monday through Thursday- 5:00AM to 3:30PM :4x10 schedule
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum of 1 year experience.
- Knowledge of how to use tape measure, micrometers and calipers
- Familiarity with hand tools and ability to learn how to set-up machines
- Attention to detail
- Good attendance record with previous jobs
- Good communication skills in English
- Basic Computer skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Bilingual Spanish preferred.
Pay Rate: $16-18/hr. depending on position
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
