POSITION OVERVIEW

The Donor Services Director is a key role responsible for delivering an outstanding donor experience. This position is dedicated to ensuring that every donor feels supported, valued, and inspired by their charitable giving. The role involves developing and executing donor stewardship strategies that differentiate NCF and foster long-term donor engagement. This role offers opportunities for growth, mentorship, and advancement within the organization.

Reporting Structure and Location:

This position reports directly to the COO. It is a full-time, hybrid, role with office location in Summerlin a suburb of Las Vegas, NV.

Key Responsibilities

Donor Experience & Stewardship

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with donors, including individuals, families, and corporations.
  • Design and implement innovative donor stewardship programs that enhance the giving experience.
  • Provide customized philanthropic strategies and impact reporting to donors.
  • Oversee donor recognition programs, ensuring contributors feel appreciated and connected to their impact.

Donor Support & Engagement

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for donor inquiries, providing timely and high-quality support.
  • Educate donors on giving options, philanthropic strategies, and community impact.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline donor service operations and enhance efficiency.

Community Engagement & Impact

  • Represent NCF at donor events and community engagements, serving as a brand ambassador.
  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships that enhance donor experiences and deepen community impact.
  • Lead donor engagement initiatives that reinforce NCF’s mission and values.

Qualifications

Required Experience & Skills

  • 7+ years of experience in donor relations, client services, or philanthropy.
  • Proven expertise in donor stewardship, engagement, and relationship management.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with a service-oriented approach.
  • Strategic thinking and analytical capabilities.
  • High level of emotional intelligence and cultural competency.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in community foundations or philanthropic organizations.
  • Knowledge of local community needs and the philanthropic landscape.
  • Proficiency in donor database management systems.

Benefits and Compensation:

  • Salary: $80,000 - $100,000
  • Employment Type: Full Time
  • Paid Time Off: 20 PTO Days + 13 holidays
  • Retirement: 401k 3% employer contribution
  • Medical, dental and vision insurance: 100% paid for employee, employee pays for beneficiaries
  • Cell phone & internet stipend $70 per period
