Heavy Equipment Operator (CDL)
- Office Location: Earth Systems Response & Restoration, 5114 WCR 128, Midland, TX 79706
- Type: Full-Time | Hourly
What You’ll Do:
- Operate heavy equipment (backhoe, loader, dozer, skid steer, etc.) for remediation and construction projects.
- Perform excavation, demolition, grading, and site work safely and efficiently.
- Conduct basic equipment maintenance and follow all safety and environmental protocols.
- Transport equipment and materials between job sites using CDL vehicles.
- Work approximately 55–60 hours per week, including overtime when needed.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re hiring full-time Heavy Equipment Operators with a Class A CDL to support environmental cleanup and construction projects. You’ll operate and maintain equipment such as backhoes, loaders, dozers, and skid steers to perform excavation, demolition, and site-preparation work. You’ll also drive and move the equipment between job sites as needed. A valid, non-expired CDL license in good standing is required for this position. This is a full-time role with steady hours, overtime, and opportunities to grow with a company that values safety and hard work.
MUST HAVES (We will only move forward if you have the following):
- Valid Class A CDL and heavy equipment operating experience required. This is an HE Operator position that requires a CDL to move the equipment.
- Ability to Travel: Regional – Must be able to cross state lines
- Experience with backhoes and general equipment maintenance preferred.
- Oilfield, roustabout, or environmental cleanup experience a plus.
- Knowledge of mechanics, workplace safety, and use of hand/power tools.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must pass MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
