\nUnit: Cath lab Tech\n\n- # Suites/labs: 2\n- #cases per day on average: 10-May\n- Required Certifications: BLS and AART\n- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Diagnostic left and right heart caths, PCI, IABP, Temporary pacemaker,\n- Job Duties: Rad Techs scrub and assist physician, need to know sterile technique.\nRNs circulate, sedate, and complete documentation requirements.\n- Experience: Prior Cath Lab or Rad Tech experience. First time traveler okay with good experience.\nOne year of experience.\n- EMR/Equipment: Siemens software and equipment\n- Cardiologist hours/on call: On Call 24-7\n- Manager/Charge Nurse: Director, Coordinator and a Charge Nurse\n- Cath Lab Techs: Yes, Rad Techs\n- Shifts & Scheduling: Five days per week, start and stop times are subject to the number of cases\nscheduled and the times they are scheduled.\n- Weeknight/Call Requirement: One week of on call per four week schedule. Monday 7 AM to\nfollowing Monday at 7 Am. For that week. Call can be 7 days in a row or broken up throughout the schedule. Any hours off the clock, they are on call.\n- Weekend/Call Requirement: Friday after hours until Monday Morning0700 (if they are not doing\nthe Monday- Monday call time.)\n- Holiday/Call Requirement : Rotational\n- Is there a mandatory call/standby requirement?: Yes, Rad Techs.\n- What is call response time?: 30 minutes\n- Floating Requirements: No- if extra hours wanted, there are units they can go to if they have\nexperience.\n- Scrub Color/Dress Code: Surgical attire- provided.\n- Unit/Department specific orientation: General hospital orientation. Computer training in the department, one week or up to 36 hours of orientation time to the department.\n

Certifications: R-American Registry of Radiologic Technologists(Copy needed); BLS-AHA(Copy needed)
